Facilitator's message plus Zoom session this week, May 4

Hi Everyone,

We are now starting Week 2 of 2030 Compass CoLab – Exploring synergies and trade-offs between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and we would like to thank you all for your contributions.

During week 1, you made more than 200 contributions about the SDGs where you have the most experience and expertise.

In this second week, we would like those of you who have not yet submitted to do so in your area of expertise. But to those who have already contributed, we now to invite you to submit SDG interactions in areas adjacent to your field of expertise. Within those SDGs, we still want to encourage you to focus especiallyon interactions between pairs with a potentially wide spread in their interaction scores for some factors.

We are also delighted to invite you to a Zoom meeting on Thursday 6 May, 15:00-16:00 CET, 09:00-10:00 Eastern US time, where we guide participants through the thinking that has led us to assess SDG interactions by examining the influence of factors. In this meeting, we will clarify on how you can capture the influence of any factor on the interaction between SDGs by providing different interactions scores for countries that are at high, medium, and low levels for the factor you selected.
