Facilitator's message, May 10

Hi Everyone,

We are now in the last week of 2030 Compass CoLab – Exploring synergies and trade-offs between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Many thanks to those of you who have submitted your contributions during the first two weeks. We are still hoping to hear from many others in the coming days.
We have now looked at the contributions you made so far and mapped them against the SDG interactions we are most interested to explore (i.e., those with a potentially wide spread in their interaction scores).

We noticed that while several contributions have been made on some pairs of SDGs (e.g., SDG 4 -> SDG 1, and SDG 7 -> SDG 8), there are still a set of interactions (e.g., SDG6 -> SDG 4, and SDG 16 -> SDG 7) that have not been assessed and scored at all. And some have only had a small number of assessments.

Accordingly, we have adapted the interface and highlighted SDG interactions that we are interested to explore, but have only three or fewer submissions so far. We would like to encourage you to focus on these interactions and make at least one contribution to one of the unexplored pairs of SDGs within and/or adjacent to your area of expertise.

The pairs of SDGs we want you to focus on are shaded in blue on the matrix view and shown with SDG icons at the bottom of the introductory box that appears in the header when you click on one of the tiles in the SDG view.

You are also invited to read others’ contributions and make comments on those you find interesting, debatable and/or challenging. You can also support ones you believe to be assessed correctly by using the ‘Like’ button on the top of the page.
